By Andrea Olson

Day 5

Psalm 66:5 -TPT

“Everyone will say, ‘Come and see the incredible things God has done; it will take your breath away!'”

Come and see what the Lord has done!

Come and worship, He is worthy!

God of wonder and miracles

There is none like Him!

           – Lyrics from “Monument”

The Passion Translation of Psalm 66:5 says, “Come and see the incredible things God has done; it will take your breath away!” Have you ever thought about God’s faithfulness like that? What a powerful perspective.

Gratitude is a foundational part of our lives. We have found that when we choose to focus on gratitude, it changes the way we view everything. So, we are working hard as a family to choose a grateful heart, even in hard seasons. We don’t have to be grateful for our circumstances. But, we can certainly be grateful in them. That subtle shift makes all the difference.

Do you find yourself in a dark season? Are you in battle on every side, struggling to find anything to be grateful for about your current circumstances? Take heart; you are not alone. Remember, God is with you. He is for you. Remember how He has always taken care of you in the past. He isn’t going to stop now. When everything else fails, that truth will remain constant. May that be your monument of gratitude in every season. One that carries you through to the other side of the fire and one that gives you hope in the future when you need it most. Rest in the truth that our God is one of wonder and miracles; there truly is none like Him!
